There are many governing bodies outside of Ireland for these treatments. They seem to have differing views on guidlines and regulations but we did find 2 which seem to be quite in depth and transparrent about their approach to training and standards.

After a couple of complaints of bias towards the I-ACT site we did a little more research into the site. We found the information wasnt particularly easy to locate about best practice and proper procedure. Insurance
It is worth checking your therapist is insured to carry out this treatment specifically. A therapist who cannot provide you with an insurance cert to prove cover may not be trained enough to be covered by insurance.
